Hyper-Converged Infrastructure Leader Delivers Best-in-Class Capabilities and Market Leadership through Demonstrated Technology Success and Customer Commitment

Mountain View, Calif. – July 7, 2016, Gridstore®, a leader in hyper-converged all flash infrastructure, announced it has again been awarded both a Microsoft Gold Data Center Competency and a Gold OEM competency demonstrating their “best-in-class” ability and commitment to Microsoft customers.

The Gold Competencies distinguish Gridstore positioning them in the top 1 percent of Microsoft’s partner ecosystem. Gridstore is also a member of the prestigious Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance and is certified in the Microsoft Private Cloud Fast Track program.

“This Microsoft Gold Data Center and OEM competencies showcase our expertise in Microsoft Windows Server and Hyper-V environments and our continued commitment to Microsoft and its channel partners,” said Lawrence Wong, Chief Customer Officer, Gridstore. “By delivering unique hyper-converged solutions, purpose built for the Microsoft ecosystem, we are able to provide our customers market leading price/performance, scalability, and easy-to-manage solutions leveraging standard Windows administrative tools.”

“By achieving a gold competency, partners have demonstrated the highest, most consistent capability and commitment to the latest Microsoft technology,” said Phil Sorgen, corporate vice president, Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft Corp. “These partners have a deep expertise that puts them in the top 1 percent of our partner ecosystem, and their proficiency will help customers drive innovative solutions on the latest Microsoft technology.”

To earn a Microsoft Gold competency, partners must have one product or application that has passed the Gold competency test for Windows Server 2012 R2 and successfully prove their level of technology expertise, and then designate certified professionals uniquely to one Microsoft competency, ensuring a certain level of staffing capacity. They also must submit five customer references related to an ISV application running on Windows Server and/or with System Center that demonstrate successful projects (along with implementing a yearly customer satisfaction study), meet a revenue commitment (for most gold competencies), and pass technology and/or sales assessments.

The goal of Microsoft’s Enterprise Partner Cloud Alliance is to create, nurture and grow a strong partner eco-system across a broad set of Enterprise Cloud Products delivering the best on-premises, Private and Public Cloud solutions in the industry. The Alliance was formed to promote and support partners providing integrations and extensions to existing Microsoft products.

Private Cloud Fast Track is a collaborative effort between Microsoft and its hardware partners to deliver validated, pre-configured solutions that reduce the complexity and risk of implementing a private cloud based on Hyper-V and Microsoft System Center. The Fast Track program provides flexibility and choice of solutions. This program ensures that the Gridstore systems meet all of the specifications for delivering a Windows and Hyper-V based private cloud solution for the data center.
